Circadian Rhythm:

Your circadian rhythm is your sleep-wake pattern over the course of a 24-hour day.

Your circadian rhythm affects several systems in your body, including digestion, temperature regulation, and hormone release.

While learning about circadian rhythm, talk about metabolism and mitochondra will often occur.  

(For an educational refresher, I have chosen to share both definitions!)

Metabolism:

Mitochondria:

Mitochondria live within each cell.  They are dynamic communicators and have the power to sense the safety and then tell the cell to "turn the power source on"-- stimulating healthy cells!
OR communicate--turn the energy down, creating what is often called a "state of collapse".

For our bodies to fully function (POWER ON) it needs the assistance of the healthy-supported cells!  Correct sun exposure is part of the formula to assist the mitochondria in telling the body that it is safe to live a happy, fulfilled-healthy life-style!
